Halloween Maze : Enter if you DARE!
 Welcome to the official kickoff for Halloween 2017.
Enter if you dare and test your mettle ⚡
You are about to enter a maze filled with gods, tricksters and the like. You will have to rely on your wit and solve riddles that will either take you on the right path through the maze or trick you into going the wrong way. Beware, while you have an opportunity for redemption along the way, if you go too far off the beaten path, it will be GAME OVER for you.
Think about your answers, check them twice and live by the consequences; may the GODS be on your side, the tricksters fail and death be avoided - or perhaps NOT! Bravely enter

Celebrating Star Wars Day
This year, on May the 4th, DeviantArt wants to pay tribute to all the amazing artists who continue to produce inspired works as dedicated fans to honor the Star Wars characters and iconic scenes we know and love… and even the ones that cause the hate to flow through us. From strapping Han Solo to laughing Salacious Crumb, from Jar Jar’s clumsiness to K-2SO’s brutal honesty, the S
Halloween has come and gone, and while it might not be as an important event for some (including me), as for others, I do enjoy Halloween-HQ (https://www.deviantart.com/halloween-hq)'s magnificent Halloween Mysteries. So, since this year I got the chance to be a character, how could I have resisted? And while most of you might not even have noticed it, I have been the Sphinx for almost a month. And magnificent it has been.
Once you found her lair (I included two misguiding steps: Search further and you shall find me) this was the part of the story you encountered, as well as the task you were supposed to solve in order to be able to move on. The task itself is formulated very
I was a part of the Halloween-HQ (https://www.deviantart.com/halloween-hq) team again this year, and I just wanted to say how much fun I had working with everybody on the team as well as all the people who participated. It's always a pleasure getting to work on a larger-scaled project, and I love that we get so many people to participate in the game! If you didn't participate this year, maybe next year you can come play too :la: So for the event this year, we had a story-line where different characters were plotting to steal/destroy works of literature, works of art, or historical landmarks. Kind of a big deal, right? Well even more so, because the participants had to solve the c

Beware Mermaids...
I played the Mermaid this year. I was the second-to-last character, just before players reached The Collector for the endgame. On my profile, I had several deviations of mermaids with quotes I made up underneath, some of which lead to a wrong turn sta.sh file that read:
"The fog seems thicker here...
You can't see more than a foot in front of you. Your gut is telling you that this is the wrong way. You turn and walk the other way where the fog thins out.
Perhaps you should use your compass to get on the right path."
A widget at the top of my page titled "Beware Mermaids" contained a sign pointing toward the beach, a comp

You are sitting at your IKEA desk at work, rolling a pencil back and forth over your knuckles in abject boredom. Suddenly, your best friend bursts into your office, panting with excitement. You stop twirling your pencil and sit up, eager to hear the news.
Apparently, he says, the souls of all artists have been ripped violently from their bodies. If someone doesn't find the stolen souls, the loss will be permanent. You stare at him in silence for a moment, feeling the blood rush out of your body. What the hell . .
